We are proud to be part of the official NFL FLAG League-backed by the NFL and supported by both current and former professional players who help develop leagues nationwide. NFL FLAG is the largest flag football league in the U.S. and the only one where players can wear authentic NFL gear, just like the pros. Flag football is now one of the fastest-growing youth sports in the country. NFL FLAG Football leagues are non-contact, providing boys and girls of all abilities the opportunity to develop their fundamental football skills in a positive, inclusive environment. Flag football is a team sport that fosters leadership, sportsmanship, and self-confidence. With 5-on-5 competition, every player has the chance to make meaningful contributions and learn important lessons-both on and off the field.

The Berkshire Family YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, dependable volunteers to support our Fall Youth Volleyball program, running Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:30–8:00 PM, September 2 through October 30 at Colgrove Elementary School in North Adams. Volunteers will help with set-up and clean-up, assist coaches during practice and games, encourage players, and help create a safe and supportive environment where all youth can learn, grow, and thrive through team sports. Whether you’ve played volleyball before or just love working with young people, this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact while supporting youth development and healthy living.

The Berkshire Family YMCA's Fall Youth Soccer program runs from September through October. Weekly practices and games are led by experienced staff and volunteers who focus on building skills, encouraging teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship. Players will receive a team shirt and be grouped by grade level to ensure an enjoyable and fair experience. Serves ages pre-k through 8th grade.

The YMCA x ROOTS Teen Center collaboration supports local youth by providing a welcoming, inclusive space during afterschool Drop-In hours every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 to 7:00 PM. Volunteers play a key role in creating a safe, affirming environment where teens can relax, connect, and explore their interests. Through a Positive Youth Development approach, volunteers help uplift young people by recognizing their strengths, listening without judgment, and fostering community. ROOTS serves teens across Northern Berkshire County and centers youth voice in everything we do.
